At least that kind of travel is sort of explained by calling it 'teleporting'
As unrealistic teleporting is theses days, it fits into the setup of the game.

Yep. You're definitely right about that, i've met some really nice people in my travels that could have used a nice hand shake or a pat on the back when you win at PvP.

I'm very opposed to weapon decay.- I seem to recall a arena net advertisement for the game touting no weapon decay, and it made me say, 'wow, that actually sounds fun!'

I have a buddy that plays Dark Age of Camelot. He has some uberweapon. He told me that he's calculated it out: it he does nothing else, he can maintain the quality of his uberweapon at a constant. If he does any other quests, it's going to lose quality.

Does that sound fun to you? I wonder what the point of even playing in such a situation would be. Obviously this is seems to be an edge case- but it's not a theoretical one.

I prefer the Final Fantasy (platform, not MMORPG) style, where one you've got a weapon, you've got the weapon.

Durability is not fun. More realistic, perhaps, but not more fun.

Therefore, no. Find some other way to create money sinks.

yeah, let's make this game more realistic.

!) i want toilets everywhere! with a toiletlady that charges 25 cents!. else you will face the embarresment to have to go into the wilds and pee there.

2) the government should be installed, charging you with taxes! and they would spout information about their campaigns in the chat so that we elect them again!

3) clowns! give us lots of clowns to entertain us! oh wait, clowns are scary... nvm.

oh wait... elementalists, monks, mesmers and necro's don't really exist in real life, do they?

after this little taunt, this forum has lots of topics with good ideas for moneysinks. but this is not one of them imho.

I think sarcasm doesn't discredit the idea. I think sarcasm discredits the one who uses it.
